Joel and the bots tore this movie, with its inane plot and crummy dialogue, to shreds. In desperation to kill "King Dinosaur", which is not pursuing them once they get back into the water, the team of brilliant scientists set up a nuclear device. On a nearby island, the team is cornered by a giant iguana, which kills a large alligator. There are stock footage scenes of alligators, bear cubs, owls, circling crows, and other modern animals which along with a modern forest make no sense in a time which is supposed to correspond to an early stage of biological development. The biologist mentions that there are many unknown strains of bacteria, but all of the animal life on the planet is identical to animal life on Earth. When they land, there is absolutely no attempt to make it look like anything other than the landscape of the Mid-West. Four scientists, divided into two loving couples, are chosen to fly in a rocket ship to explore the newly discovered planet of Nova to gather samples and check to see if it is inhabitable. The feature film, "King Dinosaur", is not at all what you'd expect. The short has a preachy format similar to "Reefer Madness" but with far less plot and creativity. In this episode, Joel and the bots are subjected to a short about automobile safety where a bad driver dies in an accident and then has to stand in a court in heaven where he faces a judge who wants a very detailed account of his driving habits and has absolutely no interest in any other aspect of the deceased's other characteristics.
